Gun control has been a major issue in our country for the past twenty to thirty years. Guns are widely used around the United States. Just about every home has some kind of gun. The worry is that guns are to easy for kids and criminals to get. There are young teens in gangs killing each other left and right. People across the nation want this to stop, so they say that all guns should be banned from use. I disagree.
The way i look at it is that we have had people using guns since our country was founded. It was a means of life around. I personally have been around guns my entire life. I go hunting every chance i get. Guns are perfectly safe as long as there in the correct hands of respnonsible people. If they ban guns entirely that will end up taking away my hunting privalages. It would highly effect my family and the people I know around me.
How ever i do think that they should make laws that make it almost impossible for the wrong people to get guns. I'm talking about people such as criminals and gang members. This would make it so that the shootings would go down. But they should not get rid of guns entirely.
