Border Control

On May 28, 1924 congress passed the Department of Labor Appropriation Act to establish funding for border patrol on the border of Mexico. It was made up of 450 men. Immediately the three main problems were found: smuggled drugs, weapons and humans. These three problems are still here today. Now today these problems are a huge problem to U.S. citizens. People coming across the border are taking jobs from U.S. citizens. Border control has been more intense but people, drugs and weapons are still getting through. There has to be more things done to stop this problem.
